I have a domain (mydomain.com) being hosted by Dreamhost. I created this back when Google offered a free version of G Suite (now Google Workspace) and opted to use Google for my email.

I no longer use any of the services from Dreamhost, but I do use my email and don't want to lose my grandfathered free status for G Suite/Google Workspace. I'd like to transfer my domain from Dreamhost to No-IP so that I can still keep ownership of my domain and continue using Google's services. I use No-IP for other purposes as well, so they are my primary choice for hosting mydomain.com

The process seems pretty straight forward, but I'd like to make sure I'm not missing anything. I understand that if I proceed with the migration of mydomain.com that I will need to add an MX record to Google's mail server (aspmx.l.google.com.) from the No-IP DNS management page.

Beyond this, are there any other steps I will need to take? Are there any things I should be looking out for? Will these changes affect my free tier with Google? I'm fine not having access to email while things are being updated, but I absolutely must keep my G Suite as I have it.

Any thoughts/consideration/advice is appreciated. Thanks!
